Our focus on philanthropy means we partner with and support organizations that closely align with our purpose – transforming smiles, changing lives.
Operation Smile
Align Technology has contributed more than $1 million dollars to Operation Smile, a global non-profit that provides free surgeries to children and adults born with cleft lip and cleft palate. Since 1982, Operation Smile has provided hundreds of thousands of surgeries around the world. A surgery that also changed the life of our colleague Matt as he shares in his #myalignstory.
America’s ToothFairy
Align Technology is committed to America’s ToothFairy, an organization that provides oral health education resources to nonprofit dental clinics, public health organizations, educators and volunteers. To date, Align has given more than $1.7 million dollars to America’s ToothFairy, helping more than eight million children.

Employee charitable events and activities
Every year, Align employees participate in an “Align Month of Smiles” to help bring smiles to people in our local communities. Our employees participated in local projects such as:
- Smile Classes at local primary schools in China
- Blood donation in Europe
- Food, clothes and hygiene supplies to local Children’s charities in Mexico
- Habitat for Humanity in the US
- and many more

We strive to protect the world we live in through sustainability programs where we encourage employees, customers and consumers to be conscious of their environmental footprint.
